Welcome to Whippoorwill Eco-friendly Community Camp is where Instructors from our eco-villiage share their passion for environmental stewardship with our 2-day hands-on forest + farm immersion.

What we do each day...
Daily highlights may include:

Forest exploration, tracking, and nature games

Garden harvesting + soil/compost learning

Farm chores and animal care (supervised)

Guided, age-appropriate foraging & ecology lessons

Simple farm-to-table snacks or cooking projects

Creek/nature play + creative free play

Team challenges, building projects, and outdoor skills

Safety at Whippoorwill

Small-group supervision with consistent staff ratios

Background checks and training for adults working with children

CPR/First Aid trained adult on site

Clear property boundaries and check-in/out procedures

Handwashing and hygiene practices for farm/garden time

Signed waivers + medical authorization required
What to Bring
Closed-toe shoes, water bottle, sunhat, weather-ready layers, and lunch/snack (unless otherwise noted).
